06-06-2023 Fledgling update

The first Kalamazoo falcon chick ventured out last night and found herself in front of Tempo Vino winery. She had no obvious injuries but was not flying. We don't know if she was sampling the wares at the winery but after a brief intervention, she accepted a ride to rehab. First she had a ride in the elevator. Very exciting start to the morning.
A second chick made a short flight Wednesday morning (6-7) to the adjacent building.
