03-08-2023 Nest box greetings

3/9/2023

Hi Falcon Fans.  March has managed to arrive despite the rather schizophrenic weather.  The Peregrines know that spring is almost here.  Rebecca and Kewpee stayed close to home base all winter long and are now visiting and hanging out in or on the nest box quite a bit.  They are renewing their bond with mutual bowing to each other in the box.  Look for the video clip.  There have probably been some food exchanges that I have missed and I am sure that breeding is imminent.

Last year eggs were laid between March 24 and March 31, so we are just a couple of weeks away from seeing the start of this year’s falcon family.
