The new nest box was installed on Nov 17. We have been watching closely to see what the Peregrines thought of their new digs. Kewpee visited briefly a day after installation. Then there was a long stretch without any activity in the box. Finally, this morning both birds entered the box and had quite the conversation. Kewpee arrived first, closely followed by Rebecca. They vocalized with each other, bowed and even touched beaks a few times. We worry-warts breathed a big sigh of relief that the new box seemed to get the stamp of approval.
