02-18-2024 Bonding briefly

Hi Falcon Fans.  It’s only February but it was close to 60 today.  The days are getting longer and the falcons know that it is time to start thinking about spring and family planning. Rebecca and Kewpee stayed close to home base all winter long and are now visiting and hanging out in or on the nest box quite a bit. They are renewing their bond with mutual bowing to each other in the box. Look for the video clip.  I have not caught any food exchanges in a video but that is also a typical behavior that renews their bond.  You are likely to see one of them on the nest cam these days.
