06-08-2024 Stella and Soar

The votes for names have been tallied and Stella and Soar are our 2024 Peregrine falcons. We hope their names inspire them to be stars and to fly strongly and safely.  We appreciate all the name suggestions and the votes that came in through the website and Facebook page. 

The good folks at Wildside Rehabilitation and Education Center are certainly busy at this time of year and we appreciate all the hard work they do for our birds, as well as many other critters.  The latest news is that we will be bringing at least one juvie home on Monday morning.  We will release them near the nest box and they will reunite with the parents.  I know that we have missed them during the few days they have been at flight camp and will be happy to have them back at Peregrine Central where we can watch them learning the fine art of being a falcon from their parents.
