03-18-2024 The First Egg of 2024

3/18/2024

Rebecca laid the first egg shortly before 9 AM today.  She took a break about 9:25 to stretch her wings and Kewpee came to keep the egg warm.  She came back about 20 minutes later to change places. In the video, Kewpee is in the box then Rebecca arrives. They converse and touch beaks a few times.  Kewpee then leaves and Rebecca settles down back on the egg.  In the past, eggs have been laid about 2 days apart. Watch for the next one to arrive.
