What an exciting day.  Three eggs have hatched.

The Kalamazoo Peregrine falcon chicks are now just over a month old.

The four chicks have been growing fast and are starting to get their feathers making them look like punk-rock teenagers.  They were banded on May 20

The first two eggs hatched on April 26, 2016, right on schedule, 30 days from the date of the last egg laid. The third egg hatched on April 27, and the last egg hatched today (April 28) shortly after 3 PM.

All four eggs have successfully hatched and the chicks (eyases) are keeping Mom and Dad busy.  The first 2 eggs hatched on May 4, 2015, the third egg hatched on May 5, and the last egg hatched on May 7.
