A life too short
The young male Peregrine falcon, Sharib, disappeared for a few days around July 4.
The young Kalamazoo Peregrines continue their training in downtown. As they are roaming more, they are more difficult to see predictably especially midday.
Checker (22/C Black/blue) returned home this afternoon after spending about 10 days at the Braveheart Raptor Rehabilitation Center

We have some good news from the Braveheart Raptor Rehabilitation Center about Checker.
The three Peregrine chicks in Kalamazoo are active and playing a lot with each other.
The four Peregrine falcon chicks have been named by the community.
It has been a busy week at Peregrine Central. The two female chicks decided to take flight on Wednesday morning (06-08-2016).
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) has provided instructions on what to do if you find a falcon on the ground in Kalamazoo.
