05-26-2016 The Wayward Chick Rescued!

The Peregrine chick that tumbled into the parapet and spent the night under the nest box was successfully rescued early this morning by DNR biologist and all-around hero, Mark Mills.  Mark quietly snuck out into the parapet and got the chick back to safety before Rebecca even knew what happened.  The fab four are not daunted in their adventures and venture out of the box and onto the ledge frequently.  Let’s hope they keep their balance and stay safe from here on.
