04-10-2017 Parapet camera is down

4/10/2017

The parapet camera has a loose connection and is not transmitting live feed right now.  It will need a repair.  Unfortunately, the timing is not very good since Rebecca and Kewpee are incubating their four eggs around the clock.   It would be too disruptive to have someone out near the nest box to repair the camera, so we will stay off line for the time being.  Most of the action is in the nest box, so we are not missing a lot without the parapet camera right now.  Our apologies for the disappointment, but safety of the birds (and people) is the highest priority.

Incubation appears to be going well.  The Kalamazoo Peregrines are attentive parents even when their family consists of eggs!  Watch for hatching around April 25.
