The fluffy little chicks have disappeared and been replaced by teenagers. These young fellows have lost most of their downy feathers and are sporting their flight feathers. They will be fledging any day now. Many eyes on the skies are needed now to watch the first flights and make sure the chicks are safe. Please let us know if you would like to join the Peregrine Patrol and spend some quality time in downtown Kalamazoo. It is a great view of the birds from the top of the parking deck, so come on down and join us.
We have turned on the live stream feature for the parapet camera since the chicks spend most of the daytime outside of the nest box. You can choose that feature at the home screen.
