04-18-2020 Food exchange

Kudos to Walter S for the heads up on a fun food exchange on Saturday morning.  Kewpee arrived at the nest box with some food for his mate, Rebecca.  She accepted the food and flew off with it and Kewpee took over incubation duties.  There is a short videoclip of this interaction. You can even hear him vocalizing softly as he turns the eggs before settling down.  What a great guy.

The cold snowy weather seems to have moved on and there are warmer winds.  Will we see eggs hatching this week?  Stay tuned!
