05-08-2022 Still three chicks

5/9/2022

It looks like we will have three chicks this year.  One egg did not hatch, which is not all that unusual and has happened twice prior to this year.  The three chicks are doing well.  There is definitely a size difference between the first two and the third chick.  They are all getting well fed, although there is no avoiding those taller larger mouths at the beginning of a meal.  There is a video clip of breakfast today.  Kewpee arrives first followed very quickly by Rebecca who has brought food.  The smallest chick finds his way to the front of the line and gets his share of food.
